Scarce Stanley # 192 Rebate Plane, Used

$90.00

Scarce Stanley # 192 Rebate Plane, Used

Maker:  Stanley Rule & Level Co, New Britain, CT

A scarce 1” rebate plane by Stanley.  This type was produced from 1886 – 1962.  The approximate date range of the plane can be determined by Japanning on the tote (approximately 75%).  This series began production in 1952 with the pebbling finish on the tote.  This particular example reflects expected wear from original use including some staining/rust on the tote and depth adjuster.  Otherwise in very good condition with the sole in particularly very good condition. Fully functional – iron requires sharpening/honing.

Price: $90 OBO
