Scarce # 607C “early” Bedrock Stanley Plane, Used

Maker:  Stanley Rule & Level Co, New Britain, CT

A scarce “early” Bedrock series 22” jointer plane with corrugated sole by Stanley.  Plane is a Type 3 produced from 1900-1908.   Bed has the April 1995 patent date cast into body behind the tote.  Iron and lever cap are the correct Type 3.   This particular example reflects wear from original use including staining of the metal surfaces.  Overall good condition with about 50% of the original Japanning intact.  The plane is fully functional in all respects – iron needs sharpening/honing.
